About Ruth Paris
I have been a business and executive coach since 1991, working with senior people in a wide variety of organisations and
entrepreneurial businesses.
Executive Rescue coaching is a key area of my work, intensively
helping people overcome immediate crisis or experiences of overwhelm.
In the early
'90s I
co-founded a niche business consultancy developing leadership, team and
individual performance, during which time I specialised as an executive
coach and mentor. In 2007 I co-founded
Coaching on Call, the pioneer in providing on-demand telephone
coaching to managers worldwide.
For fourteen years
I was a volunteer advisor, coach and counsellor
with the
Citizens Advice Bureau and continue to make a
contribution in the not-for-profit sector.
As well as an
MA in Linguistics and Social Anthropology from Edinburgh University, I
have a counselling qualification from the University of Surrey (1992)
and am an accredited NLP coach (1998) and Master
Practitioner (1993). I am a member of the International Coach
Federation and subscribe to their rigorous
Code of Ethics.
I am based near Farnham in Surrey and most of my
face-to-face coaching work is in London and the South East. I also
undertake telephone and email coaching, working with clients in various
parts of the UK,
Europe and Asia.
